Paul Djupe

Paul Djupe is a Professor Directing the Data for Political Research program at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. He is the academic editor of the Religious Engagement in Democratic Politics series at Temple UP, is an affiliated scholar with PRRI, and is cofounder of the Religion in Public blog. His work is most closely identified with the religious communication approach to religion and politics and is set in the US. He is the coauthor, most recently, of The Full Armor of God: The Mobilization of Christian Nationalism in American Politics (Cambridge) with Andy Lewis and Anand Sokhey, and The Knowledge Polity: Teaching and Researchin the Social Sciences (Oxford) with Amy Erica Smith and Anand Sokhey. He also recently coedited ‘An Epidemic Among MyPeople:’ Religion, Politics, and COVID-19 in the United States (Temple UP; open access!) with Amanda Friesen.
