Cammie Jo Bolin

Cammie Jo Bolin is an assistant professor of political science at University at Albany, SUNY. Her research interests include identity, participation, and women’s leadership in political and religious contexts. With Benjamin Knoll, she is coauthor of She Preached the Word: Women’s Ordination in Modern America (Oxford University Press, 2018). She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in American government from Georgetown University and a B.A. in politics and history from Centre College. As a member of the APSA Religion and Politics executive committee, she looks forward to building further connections with scholars at the intersections of politics and religion.
